PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize wear of a tool body as much as possible, and to inexpensively manufacture an insert-detachable-type rotating tool. SOLUTION: An expanding slot is formed in a radial direction at the leading end of the tool body 4, an insert 3 having a cutting edge 2 is inserted into the expanding slot, and a clamping screw 17 orthogonal to the slot is screwed into the end, whereby the insert-detachable-type rotating tool 1 has the insert 3 sandwiched between inner faces of the expanding slot.
