PURPOSE:To effectively rotate a rotor by the first start pulse after the reset is released even when a drive pulse which is not based on an oscillation signal is generated by noise or the like applied to the route of a drive pulse generator. CONSTITUTION:A memory circuit 4 and a control circuit 5 are provided in a circuit for generating an output pulse which has a half period difference by supplying the output of a frequency divider 1 through a binary flip-flop circuit 2 to a pulse width controller 3, thereby outputting a drive pulse which has a reverse phase relationship to the phase relationship of the previous drive pulses A, B of high level at the reset terminal 6. Thus, a motor is not started by the first drive signal after the reset is released even by resetting so that the motor is stopped at any position. |
