Fancy core yarns are prepd. by supplying covering filaments at a faster speed than core filaments or making the core filament tension larger than the covering filament tension. The supplying rate ratio of core filament to covering filament is 1: 1.02-1.60. The tension of the core filaments, which 90 around the rubber tension roller of a pair of corotating rollers to supply core filaments, is 1.504.0 g/d. Core filaments consist of polyester of other synthetic filaments and covering filaments consist of roving yarns.
