The cartridge comprises a storing chamber for one or more beverage ingredients and a collecting chamber. The collecting chamber actually encircles the chamber peripherals. The cartridge is fitted with a hole through which one or more ingredients can be placed into the storing chamber. The hole is closed with a cover having two sectors: one of them covers collecting chamber and the other - storing chamber. The first cover sector is pierced when using so that to let in the water flow into the collecting chamber.
