<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet deposition device with ameliorated viscous pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: This droplet deposition device is constituted of each chamber which comprises: an array of fluid chambers (300 and 310) connected with a droplet injection orifice; a common fluid inlet manifold (220) and common fluid outlet manifolds (210 and 230); and a member for generating a fluid current in the fluid inlet manifold (220) and in the fluid outlet manifolds (210 and 230) passing through each chamber of the array. In addition, the device is of a proper size for preventing a foreign substance contained in the fluid from depositing in the orifice by the flow of the fluid passing through each chamber. It is selectively designed that the resistance to one flow in the fluid inlet manifold (220) and the fluid outlet manifolds (210 and 230) merely brings about a low level of the pressure change in the fluid inlet rather than giving a rise to a critical gap in the droplet injection characteristics between the two chambers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
