PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thumb-turn cover, for which the external appearance can be easily designed, capable of definitely preventing any picking of a lock by illegal trespassing against a criminal using a picking tool. SOLUTION: A thumb-turn cover 100 comprises a thumb-turn seat 11 having a reversed piece 33 along an outer peripheral edge with a thumb-turn picker 29 fixed to a mounting plate 19 for an existing thumb-turn; a cover 13 having a recess 37 on a surface at an oscillating end side with its outer peripheral edge 13a overlapped to the inner side of the reversed piece 33 at the closing position and supported in a freely oscillating manner above the thumb-turn seat 11; and a lock lever 15 for releasing the linkage by pushing a button 47 in a cover closing direction having the button 47 protruding from the recess 37 of the cover and a linking claw for connecting to a linking portion made to the thumb-turn seat 11.
