APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING PATTERN ON A DISPLAY PANEL

An apparatus and a method for forming a pattern on a display panel are provided to prevent the diffusion and distortion of the pattern by removing residuals of a material through a cleaning process. A frame is mounted on a frame mounting unit(200). A pattern-shaped recessed section is formed on an upper portion of the frame. An applying unit(210) applies a material for forming a pattern onto an upper portion of the frame mounted on the frame mounting unit. A cleaning unit(220) has a blade for cleaning the upper portion of the applied frame. A supporting unit(230) supports a display panel(240), where the pattern is formed, by the frame mounted on the frame mounting unit. The frame is wound to a cylindrical shaped core to be mounted on the frame mounting unit. The material for forming a pattern is a conductive paste or an insulating material. The blade is made of a metal or a rubber.
