PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system preventing disconnection of a belt from an auxiliary machine pulley, caused by vibration of a driving source, rotation fluctuation, and belt resonance, without damaging the belt. SOLUTION: A tension imparting pulley 14 pressure-contacted with a power transmitting belt 13 and a belt inversion preventing pulley 15 confronting with the tension imparting pulley 14, are arranged with respect to a power transmitting belt 13 laid between a clamp pulley 16 in a power source 11 and a pulley 17 in a driven device 12. A groove Da of the tension imparting pulley 14 and a groove Db in the belt inversion preventing pulley 15 are arranged to be proximately confronted with each other, and thereby, the power transmitting belt 13 is held between the grooves Da and Db.
