A harbor crane management system and a method thereof are provided to display and store information on the work environment of a harbor crane, in real time. A harbor crane management system comprises the followings: a sensing unit(200) which is connected to the harbor crane, and detects information about the work environment of the harbor crane; a management terminal(300) which determines the work mode and working radius of the harbors crane based on the work environment information, and displays the work environment information, work mode and working radius; a main server(500) which stores and displays the work environment information and work mode from the management terminal; and a client which searches and displays the information stored in the main server.
