<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an interference between a side airbag and a head protection airbag to be restricted while the head protection airbag is being developed up to an overlapping position in a vehicle width direction over a developing region of the side airbag so as to enable them to be adapted for both a side clash of the vehicle and a roll-over. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicular airbag device has a side airbag 12 that can be developed into a space between an occupant 26 sat at a front seat 21 (a vehicular seat) and a door 18 (a vehicular body side) and a head protection airbag 16 that can be developed into a curtain-like state downwardly within a vehicular compartment to an overlapped position in a vehicle width direction over the developed area of the side airbag 12 and having the developed side airbag 12 fittable thereinto. When either the side clash or the roll-over of a vehicle 24 occurs, the aide airbag 12 and the head protection airbag 16 develop.
