<p>At the present time, also in an area of heavy snowfall, antennas and electric wires as an lifeline are indispensable equipment for maintaining the life. At midwinter, however, troubles of antenna breaking and electric wire breaking by icing and snow accretion always take place. To overcome this problem, icing and snow accretion are prevented by coating a fluoropaint, for example, onto some antennas. The surface energy of the fluororesin is about 15 mN/m at the lowest. Thus, the icing and snow accretion preventive effect is unsatisfactory. In view of the above problems of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide an antenna and an electric wire which can realize a surface having a surface energy of not more than 2 mN/m and can provide a very high level of icing and snow accretion preventive effect at midwinter to prevent troubles of antenna breaking and electric wire breaking caused by icing and snow accretion. This invention provides an icing and snow accretion preventive antenna and an electric wire having an ultra-water-repellent and oil-repellent surface, characterized in that the surface of the base material has large concavoconvexes and small concavoconvexes formed by composite fabrication and the surface is covered with a water repellent, oil repellent and anti-fouling thin film, and a method for manufacturing them.</p> |
