<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having excellent color purity and superior color reproducibility and using an organic EL. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL image display device comprises: an organic EL element composed of a color filter layer having at least one of a cyan pixel, a yellow pixel, and a magenta pixel which are complementary colors for a red pixel, a green pixel, and a blue pixel, together with these pixels; and a white EL light-emitting layer formed at each pixel on the color filter layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
