PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk driving device capable of preventing the removal of a damper from a base chassis or the deformation of the base chassis even when excessive shock loads are applied on the base chassis to which a pickup or the like is attached. SOLUTION: The disk driving device is constructed in such a manner that a turntable 5 and a pickup 4 are attached to a base chassis 2, and the base chassis 2 is elastically supported by a plurality of dampers 8 attached to a support base. The damper 8 has a small diameter part between a pair of large diameter parts sandwiching the base chassis 2 and is put through the base chassis 2. The base chassis 2 includes a plurality of through-holes 2B to individually put through the dampers 8. Each through-hole 2B is an independent hole not opened in the peripheral edge of the base chassis 2, and has a main hole part for fitting the small diameter part of the damper 8, and a pair of continuous notched parts notching opposing peripheral edges in the main hole part.
