PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an overcoating layer containing fluoropolymer particles tends to accumulate charge triboelectrically and chips of the fluoropolymer particles adversely affect an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: The photoconductor contains an optional supporting substrate, a charge generating layer, at least one charge transport layer and an overcoating layer in contact with and contiguous to the charge transport layer, wherein the overcoating layer includes a fluoroalkyl ester and a polymer.
