PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing device for efficiently receiving the request of content registration from a user. SOLUTION: A user inputs a singer name and a music name on a screen on which the request of the lyrics to be newly registered in a database, and the database is retrieved by perfect matching retrieval by using the input singer name and music name as a keyword (S709). When there is no hit, the database is retrieved by partial matching retrieval (S717). When there is no hit even by the partial matching retrieval, the request is received, and when there is a hit, the retrieval result is displayed to a user, and the user is encouraged to confirm it.
