POLARIZER PROTECTION FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, POLARIZING PLATE, OPTICAL FILM, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protection film having an easy adhesion treatment layer on one surface of a transparent protection film, for obtaining a polarizing plate having preferable adhesiveness and moisture resistance by laminating the protection film to a polarizer.

SOLUTION: The polarizer protection film has an easy adhesion treatment layer on one surface of a transparent protection film and is characterized in that: the easy adhesion treatment layer includes cellulose acetate butyrate; and the cellulose acetate butyrate shows an integral value of not more than 2.4 at the hydrogen peak of the CH3group at the top of a butyryl group, when the an integral value of seven hydrogen peaks caused by the cellulose skeleton derived from the measurement result of proton NMR is set to 7.
