ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

An array substrate and a display device having the same are provided to minimize a contact area between an organic layer and an anisotropic conductive film. A metal terminal of a pad unit is connected with a metal line formed in a display area(DA) of a base substrate(110), and is formed in a peripheral area of the display area. An organic layer(150) is formed in the display area and the peripheral area, and includes a hole pattern for exposing the metal terminal. A pad electrode(DPE) of the pad unit(OUT-P) is electrically connected with the metal terminal through the hole pattern of the organic layer, and is formed as a transparent layer. A buffer layer(160) is formed on the organic layer between pad units adjacent to each other.
