A sludge drying apparatus is provided to transfer sludge stably by transferring sludge through a sludge transfer unit comprising a transfer rotary shaft and transfer vanes, and improve sludge drying efficiency by drying sludge using a steam circulating pipe formed along an inner peripheries of a housing. A sludge drying apparatus comprises a combination of a housing(210) for providing a transferring and drying space of sludge and a sludge transfer unit(220) formed in the housing to perform a function of transferring sludge, wherein the sludge transfer unit comprises a transfer rotary shaft(221) installed in a parallel direction with the length direction of the housing and a plurality of transfer vanes(222) disposed at a predetermined interval along an imaginary spiral line on a surface of the transfer rotary shaft. The sludge drying apparatus further comprises a steam circulation pipe(211) formed along an inner periphery of the housing. The housing has a sludge inlet(201) formed on one end thereof and a sludge outlet(202) formed on the other end thereof to discharge dried sludge. |
