PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver which prevents a driving direction of a locking tool from being displaced relative to the central axis of a driver by preventing a guide part from opening due to a reaction at the time of driving the locking tool, and which almost precisely grasps a head of the locking tool with the driver. SOLUTION: A screw guide indentation part 71a and a screw head guide indentation part 71b are formed on a contact face of guide members 71, 71 guiding an axial part 2D of a screw. A portion of the guide part 71 defining the screw guide indentation part 71a, i.e., a rear end portion in an extending direction of a handle part comprises a flat face 71B almost vertical to a contact face 71A and in parallel to a driving direction. When the axial part 2D of the screw comes into contact with the flat face 71B of the guide part 71 in a guide space 71c at the time of driving the screw, the flat face 71B receives a pressing pressure from a screw 2A in an almost vertical direction, so as to prevent component forces for separating a pair of guide parts 71 from each other.
