DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR RETRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an acquisition time of data on the reception side easily.

SOLUTION: A device for retransmission receives a TS transmitted from the sending side and resends by a Carousel system. The device has: a target packet identifying/separating means for identifying and separating a target packet storing data preset from a packet string included in the TS; a redundant packet position grasping means for grasping a packet position of redundant data with respect to the packet string; a Carousel period/update detecting means for grasping a Carousel transmission unit and transmission period about the separated target packet to further detect whether the received data is updated; a Carousel data accumulating means for accumulating Carousel data storing the target packet at a predetermined position based on a redundant packet position; and a re-multiplexing means for re-multiplexing the accumulated Carousel data.
