<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence light emitting element capable of embodying a high color purity on a constant current drive. <P>SOLUTION: In the full-color organic electroluminescence light emitting element, among red color, green color and blue color expressed using conventional phosphor (singlet exciton) substances, red subpixels and blue subpixels contain phosphor (triplet exciton) substances; green subpixels contain a phosphor (singlet exciton) substance; and hole blocking layers (HBL) are formed only on light emitting layers formed of the phosphor (triplet exciton) substances. Thereby, the active matrix display element using this can be provided; and a large-area full-color display element exhibiting the reduction of power consumption of the display element and the increased competitiveness of the products can be manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
