PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device that can be thinned entirely, can avoid the deformation of a part forming a fitting section to which the insertion section of a plug connector is inserted, can appropriately connect the ground connection section of the plug connector to the ground, and can be used as a socket connector. SOLUTION: The connector device comprises an insulating housing 12 forming the fitting section 14 to which the plug connector is partially inserted; a conductive contact 15 in press contact with a connection terminal section, at one portion of the plug connector in the fitting section; a conductive spring section 17 that holds one portion of the plug connector with the conductive contact in the fitting section and is brought into contact with the ground connection section at one portion of the plug connector; and a conductive shell 13, that has mutually opposing upper and lower flat-plate-shaped sections 13a, 13b and covers an insulating housing. The conductive spring section is connected by a connection section 18, extending from the upper flat-plate-shaped section of the conductive shell and is integrally formed with the upper flat-plate-shaped section, and is extended, to the inside of the fitting section from the connecting section.
