PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition containing a silicone resin capable of imparting scratch resistance, crack resistance, stainproof properties and properties of enabling a mark by a permanent marker to be wiped out to a supporting base material. SOLUTION: The photocurable and thermosetting coating composition contains a silicone resin represented by (R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>SiO<SB>1/2</SB>)<SB>a</SB>(R<SP>4</SP>R<SP>5</SP>SiO<SB>2/2</SB>)<SB>b</SB>(R<SP>6</SP>SiO<SB>3/2</SB>)<SB>c</SB>(SiO<SB>4/2</SB>)<SB>d</SB>(O<SB>1/2</SB>X)<SB>e</SB>(1) [wherein, X is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>6</SP>are each a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon group; the above substituent is a fluorine atom, a poly(hexafluoropropylene oxide) structure-containing group or the like; with the proviso that one of Rs contains one or more groups represented by CH<SB>2</SB>=C(R<SP>7</SP>)COOCH<SB>2</SB>- (2) (wherein, R<SP>7</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group); and a, b, d and e are each 0 or a positive number, and c is a positive number, satisfying a+b+c+d=1], and is free from a solvent and liquid at room temperature.
