PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaping apparatus capable of shaping a plurality of shaped materials in a bundle having a nearly round cross section, and to provide a binding apparatus to bind a group of the shaped materials in a bundle having a nearly round cross section. SOLUTION: A first movable body 31 and a second movable body 43 are arranged at the upper part of a shaping area PS so that they can move in right and left directions freely. A first sprocket 33 on which a first roller chain 35 hanging down so as to surround the shaping area PS is wound is pivoted to the first movable body 31. A second sprocket 45 on which a second roller chain 47 hanging down so as to surround the shaping area PS is wound is pivoted to the second movable body 43. The first movable body 31 moves in the left direction and also the second movable body 43 moves in the right direction so that the first roller chain 35 and the second roller chain 47 are gradually pulled up and a group of round steel bars is shaped while they are pulled up from the transfer face L of a horizontal roller 18.
