A METHOD FOR INDUCING NEUROGENIC DIFFERENTIATION OF MESENCHYMAL STEM CELL BY beta;-AMYLOID PEPTIDE

A method for inducing neurogenic differentiation of a mesenchymal stem cell is provided to differentiate the stem cell into the nerve cell having higher efficiency by treating with a beta-amyloid peptide, so that the differentiated nerve cell is useful for treatment of incurableness nerve system disease. A neurogenic differentiation of a mesenchymal stem cell is induced by treating the mesenchymal stem cell isolated from the cartilage, bone, muscle and nerve of mammals including rodents and human with 1-10 muM of a beta-amyloid peptide and culturing the mesenchymal stem cell for 3-6 days.
