摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately calculate a recirculation exhaust gas flow rate which passes a control valve. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas is recirculated in an induction conduit by connecting the induction conduit to an exhaust conduit, both of which are provided in the downstream of a throttle valve, through the medium of an EGR supply pipe. Then an exhaust gas recirculation control valve used for controlling the volume of the exhaust gas, which is circulated in the induction conduit, is arranged in an exhaust gas recirculation passage. The recirculation exhaust gas flow rate passing the control valve is calculated by two linear-function equations. The recirculation exhaust gas flow rate passing the control valve is the flow rate of the recirculation exhaust gas passing the exhaust gas recirculation control valve. Then the two linear-function equations relate to an air-inlet pipe pressure which is the pressure in the induction conduit provided in the downstream of the throttle valve, and the two linear-function equations have different inclinations and are continuous to each other at a connection point.
