PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state capacitor having electric characteristics which do not deteriorate easily even after long time use in high temperature region exceeding 125°C, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of a solid-state electrolytic capacitor comprising a step for forming a conductive polymer layer in a capacitor element, produced by winding an anode foil having an anodic oxidation coating formed on the surface and a cathode foil through a separator, by impregnating the capacitor element with oxidizing agent solution and polymerizable monomer separately and then chemically polymerizing the polymerizable monomer, the conductive polymer is polythiophene, polyaniline, polypyrrole, or their derivative, and the process has a step for immersing the capacitor element in antioxidant solution after the conductive polymer is formed.
