<p>A pressure-generating device AP1 includes an axle hub 20 having a rotary shaft portion 21A supported rotatably in a nonrotatable cylindrical support portion 11 via bearings 12 and 13; a piston 30 attached to the rotary shaft portion 21A in a unitarily rotatable manner and in such a manner as to be able to perform a pumping action, and, in cooperation with the rotary shaft portion 21A, forming a pump chamber Ro therebetween; a cam member 41 and cam followers 42 for converting a rotary motion of the axle hub 20 in relation to the cylindrical support member 11 to the pumping action of the piston 30; a suction path 21d formed in the axle hub 20 and enabling introduction of air into the pump chamber Ro; and a discharge path 21e formed in the axle hub 20 and enabling discharge of air from the pump chamber Ro.</p> |
