MODIFIED STYRENE-FUMARIC ACID COPOLYMER, LOW SHRINKAGE MATERIAL BY USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING AND REUSING THERMOSETTING RESIN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified styrene-fumaric acid copolymer enabled as reusable as a low shrinkage material of a thermosetting resin.

SOLUTION: This modified resin obtained by reacting an inorganic salt of a divalent metal with the carboxylic acid group of a styrene-fumaric acid copolymer obtained by decomposing a thermosetting resin containing a polyester and its cross-linked parts with sub-critical water, in the presence of an alkali is used as a low shrinkage agent of the thermosetting resin to enable the reduction of its shrinkage widely as compared with the case of using the non-modified styrene-fumaric acid copolymer.
