FIELD: railway transport; locomotive power plants. ^ SUBSTANCE: locomotive power plant with conservation of heat by regeneration contains gas-turbine engine with compressor, combustion chamber and turbine connected by gas duct with free turbine after which regenerative heat exchanger is installed. Output of regenerative heat exchanger is connected with liquid sodium tank through cooling system of turbine nozzle assembly. Air cooling system of turbine wheel contains pipeline to deliver air from compressor and deflectors on turbine disk. Turbine blades are provided with inner working spaces and perforations and shroud shelves with slots on trailing edges. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability and increased efficiency of plant. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
