A DISPERSE SYSTEM HAVING FINE POWDER-TYPED INORGANIC METAL OXIDE DISPERSED IN WATER AND PREPARING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A method for preparing an aqueous dispersion of fine powder-type inorganic metal oxide is provided to obtain the hydrophobized aqueous dispersion which shows high transparency in visible rays region and is able to provide light feeling of use, excellent UV blocking capability and excellent water-resistance when being applied to a cosmetic composition. A method for preparing an aqueous dispersion of fine powder-type inorganic metal oxide comprises a step of mixing a hydrophobized fine powder-type inorganic metal oxide having a particle size of 0.005-0.1mum, a sulfosuccinate-based or a sulfosuccinamate-based dispersing agent selected from the group consisting of disodium cetearyl sulfosuccinate, disodium deceth-5 sulfosuccinate, disodium oleyl sulfosuccinate, disodium isostearyl sulfosuccinate, disodium tridecyl sulfosuccinate, disodium stearyl sulfosuccinamate, and tetrasodium dicarboxyethyl stearyl sulfosuccinamate, and water and the dispersing the mixture using a high speed bead mill. A cosmetic composition comprises 0.1-50 wt.% of the aqueous dispersion of fine powder-type inorganic metal oxide.
