PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrier having simple constitution, easily miniaturized without making the constitution appear to the outside, and having high degree of freedom in terms of an installation position and design, and a camera equipped with the lens barrier. SOLUTION: The lens barrier is equipped with: an internal barrier engaged with the body of an imaging apparatus equipped with a photographic lens which condenses light to form an image, and capable of sliding in a predetermined direction; and an external barrier attachably/detachably attached to the surface that is the surface of the internal barrier and is different from the surface engaged with the body of the imaging apparatus, and having at least larger surface area than the photographic lens.
