<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, which displays performance patterns (variation modes) on a performance pattern display differently depending on the probability variation state caused by normal probability variation and that caused by sudden probability variation. <P>SOLUTION: A main control section 310 outputs a state designating command for indicating the start of a normal or sudden probability variation and a variation pattern command for indicating the variation mode of a performance pattern.
