<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card which protects a plurality of contact pieces to transmit signals to and from an external device, and advantageously reduces the cost. <P>SOLUTION: A package 22 of a memory card 20 includes: a plurality of contact pieces 24; a plurality of test terminals 26; and a label for contact piece protection 28. The package 22 has a rectangular shape having a length that extends in the removing direction and a width that extends in a direction perpendicular to the length direction and forms a plane upper face 2202 in one thickness direction. The plurality of contact pieces 24 are installed on the upper face 2202. The label 28 is constituted of two side part labels 36 and a connection label 38, and the label 28 is pasted on the upper face 2202, so that the surfaces of the side part label 36 and the connection label 38 are positioned at positions higher than the position of the plurality of contact pieces 24, in the thickness direction of the package 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
