ARSENIC REMOVING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ARSENIC-CONTAINING SUBSTANCE, AND REACTION VESSEL THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for arsenic removal from an arsenic-containing substance and a reaction vessel therefor capable of effectively removing crystallized arsenic in an extremely short time from the arsenic-containing substance which comprises a solid or liquid containing arsenic. SOLUTION: The arsenic removing method and an apparatus and the reaction vessel therefor remove arsenic from the arsenic-containing substance which comprises the solid or liquid containing arsenic. The arsenic removing method includes a mixing process for mixing the arsenic-containing substance with an acidic water solution containing an iron ion, a crystallization-promotion process for promoting generation and crystallization of amorphous iron arsenate by heating the liquid mixture and applying an ultrasonic wave thereto, and a filtering process for filtering the liquid mixture and removing crystallized iron arsenate.
