A floor material having a spot effect and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to allow at least two color regions in one chip by mixing at least two kinds of synthetic resin compositions using a side-extrusion scheme. A floor material comprises a side-extrusion chip including at least one of a transparent extrusion chip, a pearl pigment, an inorganic filler and metallic powder. A base chip is obtained by crushing the side-extrusion chip together with a synthetic sheet and has hardness different from that of the side-extrusion chip. A method of manufacturing the floor material comprises the step of fabricating at least two kinds of synthetic resin compositions, injecting the synthetic resin compositions through different inlets of an extruder from the lateral side, mixing the compositions and discharging the compositions. |
