APPARATUS FOR INDICATING REMAINING TIME FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS

An apparatus for indicating remaining time for traffic lights is provided to indicate remaining time of the traffic light in colors by sensing lighting of each traffic light independently of a main control device. An apparatus for indicating remaining time for traffic lights comprises a sensing unit(200), a control board(300), and a display unit(400). The sensing unit has a plurality of optical sensors(210,220) sensing whether a traffic light including a green light(110) and a red light(120) is turned on. The control board measures lighting time of each light according to the result of the sensing unit, and calculates remaining time of the light, and counts down the remaining time. The display unit displays remaining time of each light counted down by the control board.
