PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute a test in IP configurations when a user determines the design parameter of IP, and to automatically generate a document on which the change of the design parameter is reflected when the IP configurations prepared by the user is appropriate. SOLUTION: The combination configurations of the internal submodules of a hardware design or the parameter value of each sub-module is changed by a design parameter, and the changed combination configurations of the submodules or the changed parameter value of each submodule are tested. As the result of the test, when there is no error, a document is generated based on the changed combination configurations of the submodules or the changed parameter value of each submodule.
