Methods and systems for providing a customized electronic output. The approach may include storing a set of templates of at least components, the templates defining a set of media objects; receiving, over a computer network, information related to an entity that is to receive the output based on the information related to the entity, presenting to the entity, over the computer network, a list of a subset of the set of templates of at least components of outputs; receiving from the entity a selection of a template from the list of the subset of the set of templates; playing the template that the entity selected, without custom information from the entity; prompting the entity to provide input to create a customized output based on the selected template; and creating a customized output from the selected template and the input provided by the entity. The method may include using an edit decision list (SOL) to represent organization of media objects in respective templates. The disclosure also includes methods and systems for providing a plan for an entity.
