The method involves compressing small wooden parts in an extruding press (3). The wooden parts are compressed by a press stamper (4) and are transported and hardened in a hardening channel (5), where moisture of the wooden parts ranges up to 10 percentages of absolute dryness. A heat carrier oil or hot water as a heat transfer medium is moved in a turbulent flow by a wall (16) of a pre-heating zone (6). The heat transfer medium is moved in the wall with a velocity of about 8 meter/second. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for extruding threads.
