To obtain an optical connector in which an optical element module can be accurately set at a predetermined position of a connector housing without causing any rattle even when dimensional control of an engaging portion is relatively rough. <??>The spring portions 42A, 42B are provided on an inner side of the cap 14. After the optical element module 13 has been attached to the connector housing 11, the cap 14 is attached to the connector housing 11. Then, the spring portions 42A, 42B always come into spring contact with one face of the optical element module 13. By this spring contact force, the other face of the optical element module 13 is pushed to a predetermined position (collision face) of the connector housing 11, so that the optical element module 13 can be held between the connector housing 11 and the cap 14 being restricted by the spring force. <IMAGE> |
