PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color converting device capable of reproducing image data corresponding to input white appropriately when converting color to multi-primary color, and to provide a color conversion method and a color conversion program. SOLUTION: The color converting device has a white color conversion value calculation means, an adjustment value calculation means, and an adjustment means. The device is used for the color conversion of numbers having a plurality of colors of input image data to numbers having a plurality of colors used by a display for displaying an image. The white color conversion value calculation means calculates a color conversion value corresponding to the input white, or that to a prescribed point corresponding to white. The adjustment value calculation means calculates an adjustment value where the color conversion value corresponding to white after adjustment is positioned inside a color reproduction region, based on the color conversion value corresponding to white. The adjustment means uses an adjustment value to adjust the color conversion value of the input image data. In the color converting device, the color conversion value to white is positioned inside the color reproduction region, thus suppressing a change in the color conversion result of white.
