<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk of high quality satisfying a BD standard and a low price capable of maintaining high transferability of a signal recording pattern in duplication of the optical disk and reducing a material cost and the number of manufacturing steps since the use of an expensive polycarbonate film is not needed and a hard coat film forming step can be omitted; and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk having a base substrate (60), a signal recording layer (61) and a transparent cover layer (62) layered thereon, the cover layer (62) comprises an acrylic UV curing resin (56) and a signal pit is transferred to the cover layer (62). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
