TRANSPARENT POLYMER FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND RETARDATION FILM, POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent polymer film having optical anisotropy and enabling direct sticking to a polarizing plate.

SOLUTION: The transparent polymer film satisfies Re≥15 and Rth≤-7.5 (Re and Rth are retardation values in the direction of plane and film thickness, respectively, measured by light of 632.8 nm wavelength) and has moisture permeability of ≥100 g/(m2day) at 40°C and 90% relative humidity in terms of the film having a thickness of 80μm.
