PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss when manufacturing a detection means for detecting the operation of a manual operation ring. SOLUTION: An operation detection means 50 for detecting the rotating operation of the manual operation ring is constituted of a pattern part 51 integrated with a rotating member 12 in an MF transmission mechanism 10, and a signal output means 52 outputting a signal in accordance with the rotation or non-rotation of the pattern part 51. The MF transmission mechanism 10 includes a clutch gear 14 for allowing the idle rotation of the manual operation ring even after a lens reaches a driving end and its movement is prevented.
