<p>A system and method for enabling secure Voice over IP (VoIP) communication includes receiving a request for the generation of a certificate to be used in conjunction with a VoIP communication, generating a certificate in response to the request, the certificate being generated based, at least in part, on a voice sample of a user that made the request, and thereafter making the certificate available for use to enable secure VoIP communication. The system and method preferably leverages the session initiation protocol (SIP).</p> |
