PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of forming a pressure relief state by directly linking with temperature rise. SOLUTION: A seamed portion 20 is formed by seaming the edges of a lid 13 and a tube 12, however, before forming, a heat-sensitive film 21 having a nature of being dissipated or contracting when exposed to high temperatures is clipped and in that state, the seaming is carried out. When enclosed in a flame 23, internal pressure P increases and the tube 12 and the lid start expansion. The seamed portion 20 has a large strength and a small deformation. However, the heat-sensitive film 21 is deformed by heat and gasified, and the remaining part is carbonized, and eventually dissipates by being pushed by high pressure gas inside the storage battery. A gap 24 is formed on the remains of the heat-sensitive film 21 and gas flows to the outside through the gap 24 as is shown in the arrow mark.
