A hydraulic power auxiliary steering apparatus is provided to preclude the moisture from being infiltrated and the oil from being leaked due to the damage of the packing according to the formation of the end protrusion at the inner peripheral surface of the upper side of the pinion housing. A hydraulic power auxiliary steering apparatus is composed of a valve housing(340) covering an inlet shaft(330) inserted at a valve body(350), wherein a flange unit(348) is formed at the lower end; and a pinion housing(380) installed with a pinion shaft(360) and a rack bar inside, formed with a flange unit(388) at the upper end, and combined with the valve housing. The end protrusion is formed at the inner peripheral surface of the upper side of the pinion housing, and an elastic body packing(320) is inserted at the end protrusion.
