<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ferrite magnet which can reduce the development of cracks of a shaped article at the time of firing. <P>SOLUTION: Before firing with a baking oven 20, a shaped article 100 is dried in a drying furnace 10 in order to adjust the moisture content contained in the shaped article 100 to 7 wt.% or less, preferably 4 wt.% or less, particularly preferably 1 wt.% or less so that the evaporation of the moisture contained in the shaped article 100 is inhibited when the temperature rises at the time of firing.
