<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for experimentally obtaining cancer stem cells in good reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the cancer stem cells includes a process for fusing tumor cells with blood cells (for example, blood cells containing hematopoietic stem cells and/or their precursor cells) in vitro.
